Disney's Wreck-It Ralph gets an 8-bit poster

A few months back we got a first look at some images from Disney's upcoming WRECK-IT RALPH. With TANGLED and BOLT, Disney has definitely shown improvement in their non-Pixar animated output and WRECK-IT RALPH looks to continue that upward trend. We now have a first look at the poster for the movie.

I love the retro NES style they are bringing to this animated world. With a great voice cast that includes John C. Reilly, Jack McBrayer, Jane Lynch, and Sarah Silverman, WRECK-IT RALPH looks like a winner.

Synopsis: Wreck-It Ralph (voice of Reilly) longs to be as beloved as his game’s perfect Good Guy, Fix-It Felix (voice of McBrayer). Problem is, nobody loves a Bad Guy. But they do love heroes… so when a modern, first-person shooter game arrives featuring tough-as-nails Sergeant Calhoun (voice of Lynch), Ralph sees it as his ticket to heroism and happiness. He sneaks into the game with a simple plan—win a medal—but soon wrecks everything, and accidentally unleashes a deadly enemy that threatens every game in the arcade. Ralph’s only hope? Vanellope von Schweetz (voice of Silverman), a young troublemaking “glitch” from a candy-coated cart racing game who might just be the one to teach Ralph what it means to be a Good Guy. But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?

WRECK-IT RALPH opens in theaters November 2, 2012.

Trailer

I'm sure it will be attached to The Avengers. It's Disney's most high profile release of the summer.

"But will he realize he is good enough to become a hero before it’s “Game Over” for the entire arcade?"

Being it's a Disney movie, I'm gonna go with "Yes".

Sounds like a good flick though.

Disney

Like most Disney movies while in productions, i have high expectations and hope for this film. But i am less enthused about the premise and this poster really looks like the Heat Miser from "A Year With Out Santa Claus". I hope the trailer will really sell the movie
