Duchovny's Dark Place

04.09.2002

Francis Ford Coppola will produce an adaptation of the James Ellroy autobiographical novel MY DARK PLACES for David Duchovny to star.  The story follows Ellroy's search to discover who murdered his mother in 1958.  Ellroy is a novelist whose works include LA CONFIDENTIAL and "The Black Dahlia" and wrote PLACES about how his own life mirrored the crime-noir tales he spun.  The film will be directed by Robert Greenwald (STEAL THIS MOVIE) from a script by Jan Oxenberg.   Duchovny's next film is this summer's FULL FRONTAL with Steven Soderbergh.
