Dunst joins Pegg

Apparently Kirsten Dunst is set to join Simon Pegg (SHAUN OF THE DEAD) in an upcoming film about journalism in what could possibly be the strangest on-screen romance ever committed to film. The comedy is based on a memoir, recounting the experiences of British journalist Toby Young as a Contributing Editor at Vanity Fair. HOW TO LOSE FRIENDS AND ALIENATE PEOPLE will see Dunst play another of Vanity Fair's writers, opposite Pegg in the lead role of Sydney Young.

I don't know, apart from ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND, I can't think of a movie that Dunst has been in that has been great when she wasn't starring opposite Spiderman. On the other hand, Pegg is awesome, so who knows how this is going to turn out. I'd like to think it'll go well. The fact that Robert B. Weide (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM) directs probably helps.
Extra Tidbit: Unlike a lot of you guys, Kirsten Dunst is a huge fan of the UK version of THE OFFICE!
