The Whole Bloody Affair December 25

THE WHOLE BLOODY AFFAIR will be used to describe a scene in SUPERBAD when it comes out. Trust me on this. I suppose we knew this was coming but it’s been so long since we heard rumors I completely forgot about it. Nothing as far as extras and shit have been discussed but the below pic is from Amazon.com and apparently it was taken at the San Diego Comic Con. If you guys have any details, please update me.

Hostel II/Hostel (DC) October 23

These both might be worth getting for the Tarantino commentaries alone. I don’t know, HOSTEL was fine with me, the second, not so much. I’m personally over the torture angle but if people are buying it, why not keep cranking them out? Saying that, these both are pretty stacked DVDs. Cover art to come soon.

Bram Stoker’s Dracula October 2

I love this cover. It reminds me of the first time I saw my parents making my little brother; complete with a creepy guy in a mask behind me and all. If you’ve listened to any of THE GODFATHER Coppola commentaries, the man gives out detail to every last detail. He also likes to put his family in his movies, so I wonder how many of them are running around in here.

Includes:

  • Francis Ford Coppola Video Intro
  • Director’s Audio Commentary
  • The Blood is the Life – The Making of Dracula
  • The Costumes Are the Sets – The Design of Eiko Ishioka
  • In-Camera – The Naïve Visual Effects of Dracula
  • Method and Madness – Visualizing Dracula
  • Deleted Scenes
  • Trailer for Francis Ford Coppola’s new theatrical film Youth Without Youth

Blade Runner: The Final Cut December 18

Jim Law caught a lot of cool shit at the BLADE RUNNER panel (read his coverage HERE), with the man himself Ridley Scott in attendance. Bitchin’. If I listed all the extras on each disc, you’d be able to print this page out and use it for toilet paper. Wouldn’t surprise me if some of you are already doing that. Our friends at DVDTimes have broken it down nicely by each disc (read that HERE). For now, enjoy the goodness of the artwork.
