Dwayne Johnson has a new plan of action in Ballers Season 4 trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

HBO's sports comedy drama BALLERS starring Dwayne Johnson got a new trailer today for its Season 4 bow. In addition to the footage previewing what's on the horizon for ex-superstar Spencer Strasmore (Johnson), the show also revealed its Sunday, August 12 premiere date.

Created  and executive produced by Steve Levinson alongside Mark Wahlberg, Johnson, Dany Garcia, Peter Berg, Rob Weiss, Julian Farino, Denis Biggs and Karyn McCarthy, BALLERS circles around the lives of former and current football players, as Strasmore, who has reinvented himself as a financial manager, looks for new ways to stay in the game. When Season 4 huddles up, Spencer and Joe (Rob Corddry) take their skills to Los Angeles as they look to expand their roster and horizons in the world of action sports.

Joining Johnson and Corddry for their latest LA venture are cast members: John David Washington, Omar Benson Miller, Donovan Carter, Troy Garity, London Brown, Jazmyn Simon and Brittany S. Hall.

Seriously, how does Dwayne Johnson find the time to contribute to so many projects and still manage to be such an incredible family man? Does he even sleep? Has a portion of his body been secretly replaced with robot parts? Is he the only one who's ever truly been able to smell what he's cooking, all these years? Maybe a whiff of Johnson's magic recipe can empower us all and he's keeping it all to himself. The bastard. Let's get him!

Season 4 of BALLERS will premiere at 10 PM Sunday, August 12th on HBO.
