Sadly, these pieces of concept art aren’t from an upcoming steampunk Disney film, rather they’re from an upcoming steampunk Disney game, titled “Epic Mickey.” The talented Fred Gambino is behind the art and the game is being developed by studio Junction Point.

The prints feature a brilliantly desolate rendition of the Magic Kingdom and its animatronic inhabitants. It’s not often I say this, but this is one game I hope gets adapted into a feature film straight away. Hell, you could skip the game entirely for all I care.

It seems to just be this common belief that Steampunk is a 'fad'. I've heard it called that in the 90s, I've heard it called that at the turn of the century, and I'm certain I'll continue to hear it for decades and decades to come.

Steampunk is an annoying trend? Is it even that big of a trend really? It's not like Emo, or Soulja Boy-esque music; you can walk around outside for a while and not encounter it.

i was referring to the fact that they called steampunk a trend. you can hardly call something that's been a subculture for over 20 years a trend.Even before it was officially labeled "steampunk" many authors shared the same style and vision dating back to even as early as the 1960's. i wasn't criticizing his opinion, simply his mislabeling of the genre as a "trend"

Holy shit this looks strange. From someone who loves Disney World, this looks pretty bad ass and fucked up at the same time. I wish it were a movie though since I don't play video games much.
