Elizabeth Olsen didn't reveal any spoilery CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR plot details during a recent interview with USA Today, but the actress did again described Scarlet Witch as being a wild card, and said her character is coming into her own in THE WINTER SOLDIER/AGE OF ULTRON sequel.

She’s coming into her own and starting to understand and have conflict with how she wants to use her abilities. It’s a dramatic conflict within her and obviously there’s conflict within the (Avengers) as well. I like that they didn’t release Scarlet Witch in the promo photos for the teams — it places her as being a wild card, and I like her having that kind of edge that people don’t know what she’s capable of. They can fear her because she is so incredibly powerful in a different way than the rest of the heroes for the most part. I like playing that role within the gang.

Olsen also talked about the lengths Marvel Studios will go to to keep things secret.

When you get the pages that you’re filming that day, you’re not allowed to take those home with you. They account for everyone at the end of the day and then they shred it. I took this one photograph, it was actually on (Civil War). Barry, who’s our security guy and is amazing, he can detect a paparazzi from like a 15-mile radius. He’s incredible. Obviously he can’t lock down public streets and bridges and things like that, but he locks down everything he can. I have this photo of Jenny my movement coach and I posing for a photo on my phone, and then in the background we asked Barry to try and interrupt us and scream at us. They have a zero tolerance policy for releasing photos on a set. It’s pretty serious — you feel like you’re doing something for the government and you’re making a movie.

When asked what a Vision and Scarlet Witch movie would look like, Olsen said she would really like it to be an adaptation of the House of M story from the comics, although she admits it probably isn't going to happen since Fox owns the X-Men and mutant movie rights.

It has to be House of M. That’s still all I want to do, I don’t care. I would just love to have make-believe children and have him play along with it and then just decide to destroy all mutants. That would be so fun but obviously that would never happen. (Laughs)

Several pieces of CIVIL WAR promo art have also leaked online that provide us with new looks at Captain America, Iron Man, Ant-Man, Black Panther, War Machine and more, which you can check out below.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR is due in theaters on May 6, 2016.

I am reallyinterested to see how Bucky fits into this, I'd love to see more of his last revealed In this film and see whether him and Iron Man clash - would be interesting if there was a reveal that showed him killing off Howard Stark in a mission as the winter soldier....

wait, who's side is Scarlet Witch on?

can't she just brainwash the other side to believe what she wants? wasn't that the major plot point of AOU.

Her powers were never really established well in AoU, to be fair, but I'm fairly confident that "brainwashing" was never something she could do. In the movie, she simply exposed each characters' worst fears and nightmares; it was never about brainwashing them or anything.

In any case, I'd bet that specific skill set won't be making a return in Civil War. For one, it'd be redundant after AoU dealt heavily with that. Secondly, it'd probably make her *too* powerful. She'll probably have some

She'll probably have some motivation for not wanting to hex anyone again (perhaps over guilt with what she and Pietro did while teamed up with Ultron?), or they'll just ignore that altogether and focus on her telekinesis or something.

I agree with you Sauron, but to be fair, Joss had her "whammy" the people in Sokovia to get them to want to leave. It's a little different from brainwashing, but much closer to it than her nightmare trick.

Oh she could manipulate minds, fuck the woman could do anything she wanted to do in the comics. With a mere thought she wiped out all of the mutants. In reality she could can change reality, kill everyone on the planet, hell make the planet itself just not exist. So yeah she could manipulate people's minds, but they have to handcuff her to some degree or there is no movie. Same way the have handcuffed Hulk or Thors power. Hulk has literally broken an entire planet in half, and Thor has fought

Hulk has literally broken an entire planet in half, and Thor has fought the Celestials and threw the Midgard Serpent into space which weighs more than earth apparently. These of course are all comic book stories and lore so ie made up by the writer, but it gives you an idea of how strong they are in the comics compared to their movie counterparts that have to be de-powered or there would be no movie.

Ah, good point Des, I'd forgotten about that moment. Still, either way I doubt she'd ever use "brainwashing" to the extent that she changed the minds of the Avengers. Then there'd be no movie haha. But yeah, her powers in AoU were REALLY badly defined, now that I think about it even more.

Supposedly they could just take off the mind gem from The Vision and brainwash them like Loki did to Hawkeye back in the first Avengers. But reasons.

Was one of the best parts of Age of Ultron and hope that Civil War can further expand on her vital role within the MCU without pushing her too much to the side with all of the other supeheroes appearing in the film as well. Her and Vision at this point, will definitely be the difference makers for each team since they're both one of the stronger heroes in the storyline and since Scarlet Witch hasn't been shown yet in the promos or anything.

I would love to see a House of M movie but Marvel can't effectively pull that off without the mutants.
