Empire has revealed the cover for its September issue, which features BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE's Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in costume, and a tiny look at the duo in their civilian duds. Affleck looks absolutely jacked as the vigilante, and he'll need to use every muscle in his body (as well as a few wonderful toys) in order to stand toe-to-toe with the Kryptonian.

Empire has also released a couple of quotes about the movie from director Zack Snyder and Cavill. Snyder says “There is just this gravitas to Batman,” and describes him as "operatic." As for Superman, Cavill explained that "In this movie, everyone has split into different directions as to how they feel about this alien. Some people love him, some hate him. Other people fear him. Is he a tyrant?"

Superman likely won't be a full-on tyrant in the film, however I'm curious to know what's going on with the patch-wearing soldiers from the trailers. Does he have his own goon squad, or are they just showing their support, since he saved a bunch of military people in MAN OF STEEL?

It's probably going to be some time before we find out though, since BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE won't be in theaters until March 25, 2016.
