Everybody’s Fighting

STEP UP prancer Channing Tatum and HUSTLE & FLOW hip-hop pimp Terrence Howard are getting ready to feed knuckle sandwiches to a few chumps in Rogue Pictures new action drama FIGHTING.

The movie follows Tatum as he enters an illegal fighting tournament for some quick cash, like most of us have done. The flick has added a few new names to the cast: Zulay Henao (now that’s a name) from the recent blinked-missed-it ILLEGAL TENDER, Luis Guzman (aka “The Guzman”) from 32% of the movies in the past decade, and pro fighter Cung Le from beating on people in reality.

The movie comes from director Dito Montiel, who just worked with Tatum on the less confrontational A GUIDE TO RECOGNIZING YOUR SAINTS. It should not be confused with David Mamet’s underground fighting movie REDBELT, with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Tim Allen. Or Jean Claude Van Damme’s LIONHEART.
