Evil Dead’s Lou Taylor Pucci joins Resolution directors’ Spring

Lou Taylor Pucci, who starred as Eric in this years EVIL DEAD remake, is set to star in the sci-fi horror film SPRING for Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who brought us last years RESOLUTION, according to Variety who also reports that shooting will begin later this month in Italy.

XYZ Films has picked up all worldwide sales rights and will sell SPRING at the American Film Market.

Benson, Moorhead and David Lawson with 9.99 Films are producing the film in Italy. XYZ Films partners Nate Bolotin, Nick Spicer, Aram Tertzakian and Todd Brown are exec producing. Shooting will conclude in Los Angeles in January.

SPRING follows young man in a personal tailspin as he flees Southern California to the Italian coast, where he sparks up a romance with a woman carrying a dark secret.

Also set to star alongside Pucci is Nadia Hilker (below).
