EXCL: 1st Mr. Fox pic! | Movie News
I really thought we were going to get a trailer for THE FANTASTIC MR. FOX on ICE AGE 3. I mean why not? Well I guess the answer to that was that Fox shuffled MR. FOX on over to Searchlight and decided to devote their trailer time to a 20th Century release, ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS 2.
It should come as no surprise that we're infinitely more interested in MR. FOX than CHIPMUNKS 2 and we're still wondering when we'll get to see that blasted MR. FOX trailer (with 500 DAYS OF SUMMER?). But for now, we're happy to pass along this first look at the titular Mr. Fox (George Clooney), Mrs. Fox (Meryl Streep) and Badger (Bill Murray).

What do you think? Do you like the look of the Fox family? Of course so much of this has to do with how the stop-motion works and what other visual flair director Wes Anderson brings to the project but I like what I'm seeing just in this little picture...

Besides, I read the book when I was younger. The ending is kinda anti-climatic, especially since the bad guys (who are complete retards, btw) don't get what they deserved (i.e. punished, defeated, etc), and they are left thinking they can still get this damn fox who's just trying to support his family and friends, for God's sake! Why make this into a movie? Fox might say that "We want money", but I say their running out of properties to ruin (which is why they're about to rape the next set of Narnia films).
