There’s more too, including two movie screenings – EX MACHINA and LABYRINTH – at the Lamarr Alamo Drafthouse in Austin. David Rancatore, Gallery and Events Manager at Mondo, spoke about the convention and how awesome it is to have such dedicated fans and institutions like the Alamo Drafthouse having their back all these years:

MondoCon is a celebration of everything Mondo loves, including movies, art, comics, music, toys, and food, and we're excited to share our love for the city of Austin by holding the convention right downtown at the Austin American-Statesman. The venue used to house the newspaper's printing presses and is a great space for all of the amazing artists, exhibitors, attendees, and panels this weekend. We're thrilled to host our evening screenings at the Alamo Drafthouse on South Lamar, the home of Mondo for many years, and for our fans to enjoy the awesome Drafthouse movie-going experience.
