Exclusive Interviews with The Martian’s Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sean Bean & more!

Over the last few days, JoBlo.com has brought you exclusive interviews with pretty much all of the actors playing astronauts in Ridley’s Scott’s THE MARTIAN. Today, we sit down with some of the actors stuck-on earth as part of NASA’s Mission Control. First up, an incredibly intimidating, bad-ass pairing, Jeff Daniels, Sean Bean, and COMMUNITY’s Donald Glover. These gents spoke to me a bit about working with NASA to convey a sense of realism, and what they hope young audiences take away from a film like this.

Next up was Chiwetel Ejifor and Mackenzie Davis – who viewers may know from the AMC show Halt & Catch Fire. One thing that surprised me was that Ejifor – who seemed so natural spouting off scientific dialogue as a NASA scientist – is not scientifically inclined AT-ALL. As he says, “ACTING!”
