Exclusive new poster for Dust of War, premiering at SDCC

It has been quite some time since we last heard about director Andrew Kightlinger's post-apocalyptic sci-fi fantasy DUST OF WAR, sharing an exclusive trailer with you more than a year ago. Now the film is set to have its World Premiere at the San Diego Comic Con later this week, and with that news comes a brand new EXCLUSIVE poster which you can check out below.

Doug Jones, Tony Todd and Gary Graham star in this film that the director has described as "MAD MAX bitchslaps Terrance Malick" and appears to play out as a kind of STAR WARS on the prairie.

Set in a post-apocalyptic American frontier, Dust of War tells the story of a lone soldier who fends off a brutal warmonger to rescue a girl fated to be the savior of mankind. Our hero joins forces with a cynical veteran and a slimy thief to bring the girl to safety, encountering mysterious invaders and traveling showmen along the way.

Check out the new EXCLUSIVE poster for DUST OF WAR below. Artist Kiel Mutschelknaus said he was channeling 'Drew Struzan on acid', and it shows!

DUST OF WAR will have its premiere screening at SDCC Thursday July 18, 2013 11:55am – 1:35pm at Marriot Hall 2, Marriot Marquis & Marina.  Doug Jones and Gary Graham will be part of a post-screening panel.
