Update: MichaelBay.com has also released a new image of another Autobot but it's definately one you're familiar with. Here's what truck form Optimus Prime is going to look like in TRANSFORMERS 4:
Original: Yesterday we learned that T.J. Miller was joining TRANSFORMERS 4 and showed you two new Autobot cars that will be appearing in the movie. Now a source for JoBlo.com has informed us of the names of the two Transformers.
According to the source the C7 Corvette Stingray is named "Slingshot" and the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse is named "Drift". There are two Autobots with the same names from Transformer's first generation of characters but it isn't completely clear if they will be the same characters or just share the same names.
I'm not the biggest fan of the series (first one is the only one I find tolerable) but that doesn't mean I'll at least give TRANSFORMERS 4 a chance. I do hope the film is at least a little different visually from the rest of the movies in the franchise. By the time the third film came out all the robots looked the same to me. Except for that one really big one of course.
Filming for TRANSFORMERS 4 should start sometime next month and will be in theaters on June 27, 2014.
