Exclusive Video: What September release are you most looking forward to?

Aug. 30, 2014by: Paul Shirey

One of the slowest months of the year has arrived; the dreaded September. As we transition from the blockbusters of summer to the award-seekers of fall, there's a smattering of "dump-month" content to weed through, but fortunately there's at least a few good offerings that may well make it worth a trip to the theater. From Denzel Washington's THE EQUALIZER to Laika's stop-motion animation THE BOXTROLLS to Kevin Smith's walrus-to-man horror pic TUSK, there's some hope that September won't be a complete waste. A few other flicks may be of interest, but overall it's pretty dead. So, let's make the most of it, shall we?

Here's what we have...

What are you planning on seeing this month? Let us know below!

Horns, Tusk, The Guest for me. And The green Inferno would be on the list but no release date in site.

Boxtrolls and Maze Runner are the only ones I plan on seeing in theaters. Zero Theorem and Equalizer assuming the reviews are at least decent. The rest will need pretty spectacle reviews to make me want to watch at all, let alone at theaters.

Equalizer, Zero Theorem, Maze Runner, Box Trolls are all ones I plan to see (of course 2 each open the same weeks.) Looks like a crowded Fall schedule.

Actually should be a pretty good September! The Drop, The Equalizer, A Walk Among The Tombstones, The Imitation Game, and Nightcrawler all look to be solid films.

The Drop, Elenaor Rigby, and definitely the Boxtrolls. My boys and I love a good stop-motion flick.

Also, Maze Runner and Equalizer look good

The Disapperance of Elenaor Rigby is the film I'm looking forward to most. Hopefully it gets a wide release.

Also looking forward to The Drop, This is Where I Leave You, The Skeleton Twins, and The Equalizer.

You're planning to go to the movies 5 times in September? Seriously?

It's your typical September, but The Drop looks pretty good.
