Ezra Miller thinks CW’s The Flash is awesome; wants to race Grant Gustin

We're still a few years away from Ezra Miller's solo Flash film, but due to the popularity of CW's The Flash the chance of both Ezra Miller and Grant Gustin filling out the red suit at the same time seems likely. Ezra Miller spoke with MTV and was asked if he was avoiding CW's The Flash, but the actor was quick to offer up a complimentary response:

I'm not avoiding it at all, I think it's awesome, and come on, we're The Flash, it's parallel universes. Grant Gustin is The Flash and I'm The Flash. Don't you see? It's the event horizon, we've crossed it, baby! Grant and I are chilling. We're going to have a race, it's going to be dope, like Jay Garrick and Barry Allen back in the day, it's going to be dope.

Prior to his casting, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE director Zack Snyder got Ezra Miller on the phone where Ezra was, as he tells it, "pretty quickly sold by a silver-tongued Zack Snyder" on the possibilities and challenges that taking on the role would bring. Prior to THE FLASH, it's likely that Ezra Miller will pop up in JUSTICE LEAGUE: PART ONE and there are even rumours of a cameo in the upcoming BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. Despite being unable to discuss the role at any length, Ezra Miller seems to be reveling in one of the benifits of taking on a superhero role; reading lots and lots of comics:

I've been a comic guy, but I'm going in as hard as possible because I have a serious excuse to, I have the ultimate license to geek out SO hard all the time!

THE FLASH is set for a March 23, 2018 release but our first glimpse of the character may come with BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE on March 25, 2016.
