Ezra Miller thinks CW's The Flash is awesome; wants to race Grant Gustin

We're still a few years away from Ezra Miller's solo Flash film, but due to the popularity of CW's The Flash the chance of both Ezra Miller and Grant Gustin filling out the red suit at the same time seems likely. Ezra Miller spoke with MTV and was asked if he was avoiding CW's The Flash, but the actor was quick to offer up a complimentary response:

I'm not avoiding it at all, I think it's awesome, and come on, we're The Flash, it's parallel universes. Grant Gustin is The Flash and I'm The Flash. Don't you see? It's the event horizon, we've crossed it, baby! Grant and I are chilling. We're going to have a race, it's going to be dope, like Jay Garrick and Barry Allen back in the day, it's going to be dope.

Prior to his casting, BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE director Zack Snyder got Ezra Miller on the phone where Ezra was, as he tells it, "pretty quickly sold by a silver-tongued Zack Snyder" on the possibilities and challenges that taking on the role would bring. Prior to THE FLASH, it's likely that Ezra Miller will pop up in JUSTICE LEAGUE: PART ONE and there are even rumours of a cameo in the upcoming BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE. Despite being unable to discuss the role at any length, Ezra Miller seems to be reveling in one of the benifits of taking on a superhero role; reading lots and lots of comics:

I've been a comic guy, but I'm going in as hard as possible because I have a serious excuse to, I have the ultimate license to geek out SO hard all the time!

THE FLASH is set for a March 23, 2018 release but our first glimpse of the character may come with BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE on March 25, 2016.

Extra Tidbit: A real-life race between Ezra Miller and Grant Gustin would actually be a lot of fun, as well as serve as a fun promotion for both the movie and the series. Get on it Warner Bros.

I detest Ezra as an actor and especially as a choice for Barry. I've actually said he is a face I want to just punch. That being said I marked this neutral because I'll actually give him credit here. He not only seems to be enthusiastic and fanboi of sorts, he is actually some what knowledgeable about the flash universe and overall DC story arcs like Crisis. Who knows maybe DC is working a rather large angle on us and planning a true Crisis of Infinite earths on us and are just laying the seeds

Even though it would have been smarter for DC to just include Amell, and Gustin into their cinematic DCU and just save everyone the backstory and time, I'm willing to give Miller the benefit of a doubt since all of the other cast members of the Justice League look great so far.

I couldnt disagree more. Never would I want the movie universe holding these TV shows hostage in what they can and cannot do. I am 100% on board with them being their separate entities and if they ever want to have some fun down the road and do an Infinite Crisis situation, fine, but I'd rather not see that. They can both exist separately from each other and work just fine and in my opinion, better.

Crisis on Infinite Earths

Still thinking the smartest thing that DC could do is make the event they're working up to Crisis on Infinite Earths. This way they can still have their TV properties take part without handcuffing them (Like Sheild) to follow certain story lines but the can have characters from the different Universes meet.

They've teased that on the Flash since episode one. (Future headline: "Flash disappears in Crisis")
