Michael Moore apparently isn’t done sending a great big f**k you to George W. Bush as he’s officially developing a sequel to his unprecedentedly successful 2004 film FAHRENHEIT 9/11. Currently untitled (though it’ll apparently have FAHRENHEIT 9/11 1/2 somewhere in the title), the film will not only be another incendiary attack on the Bush administration but will “explore the role of the U.S. in the world, in areas ranging from foreign policy to industry, during the nearly eight years since President Bush took office.” And, unlike his previous films that were done with the Weinstein Co., Moore has decided to release the film through Overture Films and Paramount Vantage. The Weinstein’s will, however, get an executive producer and an “in association with” credit. Vantage expects to sell the film at the upcoming Cannes Film Festival.
