Well, it’s about f*cking time! We now have some high quality images of the lovely Cobie Smulders as S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Maria Hill from Marvel’s THE AVENGERS. Smulders has been more in the background throughout the marketing of the film thus far, but Marvel has decided to lift the embargo on the hotness that is Cobie and share some images from the film.

I’m a fan of Smulders from How I Met Your Mother, so I’m slightly biased here. However, she has proven to have the sass, attitude, and looks to fill the boots of Maria Hill, who is a very strong, no-nonsense character in the comics (and also has an on again/off again thing with Tony Stark).
It may sound odd, considering all the epic charaters in THE AVENGERS, but I’m really looking forward to seeing what she does with the role. Something tells me she’ll be doing more than just standing around looking hot. Not that that would be so terrible either…
