I've met the director. He's actually pretty talented. I saw his short film "Jesus Henry Christ" in film school, and it was excellent. The acting wasnt as impressive, but I could see the talent in direction. I hear Julia Roberts' involvement in this project was by accident. Dennis Lee (Director) had been looking for an actress to fill the role, and one of his camera-man friends took a copy of the script home to help find some talent. His wife found it lying around the house and started to read

Dennis Lee (Director) had been looking for an actress to fill the role, and one of his camera-man friends took a copy of the script home to help find some talent. His wife found it lying around the house and started to read it. She instantly fell in love with the script and called Lee up to see if she could maybe read for the role. Turns out, the camera-man's wife was none other than Julia Roberts.

Lee, that lucky bastard!

I thought of Serenity too, but I knew it wouldn't be related to the the series or movie.

From the title, I thought you meant you'd spotted a Firefly ship from Whedon's series in the background of a recent trailer. Instead, it's some random indie movie, probably about self-loathing or something.

One of those things is awesome, the other is not.
But I'll at least hand it to ya, joblo staff: you guys come up with some sneaky article titles.
