Can I tell you guys a secret? I haven't seen any of Netflix's House of Cards. The political drama looks fantastic, and I love me some Kevin Spacey, but it's just one of those shows I haven't had a chance to sit down and watch yet. The series snagged several Golden Globe nominations yesterday, and now you can check out the first trailer for the second season. Just because Spacey's Frank Underwood is the Vice President doesn't mean he's finished manipulating and lying, and based on the trailer, some very heavy shit will be going down in the new season.

And the butchery begins.

House of Cards also stars Robin Wright and Kate Mara, and all 13 episodes of the second season will be available on Netflix on February 14th, 2014.

Epic, incredible, and oh how I love Kevin Spacey (that picture is him in Lincolns chair is just so badass).

So makes me wish I paid for Netflix streaming.

That trailer just swells from beginning to end. Nice to see Benito Martinez (David Aceveda from "The Shield") making an appearance at 1:14.

While the plot is straight out of Shakespeare, I really liked how they treated Washington as no less dysfunctional than it is in real life. Kind of reminded me of a beltway version of The Wire, a world of characters who are real enough to be modeled on actual politicians (except for Underwood).
