First image of Jeremy Renner in The Bourne Legacy has been revealed

So there's Jeremy Renner doing his best Matt Damon impression.
USA Today unveiled the first look at 'Aaron Cross', the new protagonist as played by Renner in writer-director Tony Gilroy's THE BOURNE LEGACY. The image is not what one would call "exciting", but it does feature Renner in a cool jacket with lots of facial intensity. Two out of three ain't bad!
The fourth film in the spy franchise has taken the title from the Eric Van Lustbader book based on the series created by Robert Ludlum, but will not use its story. Instead, Tony Gilroy took the opportunity to expand on the universe already established in the first three films and created a whole new stand-alone chapter as a compliment to the series.
Also, Matt Damon thinks it's garbage.
THE BOURNE LEGACY opens August 3rd.

Careful, Renner
But the funny thing is Renner looks very similar to Damon in that pic - just way more beautiful.

I'm down.
This isn't a Bourne film without Damon. It's The Bourne Legacy - the legacy created by the Treadstone program which got re-built as BlackBriar. Damon will come back after.
The only problem I can see here? Gilroy brought in James Newton Howard. As much as I

Not good
Pourquoi?
Does it really matter?
Trust Renner for action
So...then they should've just called it The Cross Legacy. Idiots.

No Damon, No Bourne...
