Jungle Daniel Radcliffe Greg McLean

It's been quite a few years for young Daniel Radcliffe. The British actor has managed to almost entirely shake off the stigma of Harry Potter by choosing a wide variety of strange, unique and challenging roles, including a farting corpse in SWISS ARMY MAN, a man suffering from a devilish affliction in HORNS, and an undercover skinhead in IMPERIUM. And let's not forget his impeccable cameo in TRAINWRECK.

His next film is another genre joint, the survival thriller JUNGLE from director Greg McLean (WOLF CREEK, THE DARKNESS, THE BELKO EXPERIMENT). The first image from the film has been released, and it shows Daniel Radcliffe lost in the wilderness, switching SWISS ARMY MAN roles to become the type of scraggly wanderer played by Paul Dano. Check it out below!

Based on Yossi Ghinsberg's memoir of the same name,  JUNGLE:

begins as a dream adventure for four amicable, if hastily met, muchileros (backpackers) and quickly becomes a struggle for survival as they unravel under the duress of the jungle. They are an odd mix to be sure: Marcus, the Swiss mystic; Karl, the shady Austrian geologist; Kevin, the well-intentioned American photographer; and Yossi, the Israeli adventurer. Jungle is the incredible true story of Yossi Ghinsberg's triumph over the most adverse and frightening of circumstances. It is a tale of survival and human fortitude against the wildest backdrop on the planet.

JUNGLE also stars Thomas Kretschmann, Alex Russell, Joel Jackson, and Yasmin Kassim.
