Patrick Stewart has tweeted the first look at his character from his new film GREEN ROOM, and no, it's not the image above of him with Ian McKellen and Elmo. Written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier (BLUE RUIN), GREEN ROOM will follow a "young punk rock band who find themselves trapped in a secluded venue after stumbling upon a horrific act of violence, fighting for their lives against a gang of white power skinheads," with Patrick Stewart playing the gang's leader.
"Do you know Cameron Alexander? I'm supposed to have a meeting with him today."
As some have pointed out, Patrick Stewart looks a bit like Walter White as the Neo-Nazi gang's leader. I thought Jeremy Saulnier's BLUE RUIN was fantastic, and hopefully his new movie will be just as good. GREEN ROOM also stars Imogen Poots, Anton Yelchin, Mark Webber, Macon Blair and Alia Shawkat, and will be released sometime in 2015.
