On the first day, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was created. On the second day came ElecTRONica.

Well, obviously it wasn't the second day and it's not at Universal Studios in Orlando. ElecTRONica will be the closest thing you actually have to visiting the brightly lit world of TRON: LEGACY. You can find this dance party at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot in Disney California Adventure Park. Would you go?

Here are some more details from Disney Park:

"It’s an “electrifying” experience for the entire family, filled with music, lights and some of your favorite food and beverage, all set amidst the captivating world of “TRON: Legacy!” From a dazzling dance club under the stars to an authentic recreation of Flynn’s Arcade to some radical gaming, it’s like nowhere else on the grid! Each night, we’ll feature live entertainers, complete with lasers, glow accessories and the hottest music ever to rock the grid. ElecTRONica is “the” place to dance the night away in a fantastic world that only Disney can create. Highlights for the entire family will definitely be Flynn’s Video Arcade, face painting and the TRON: Evolution video game area."

"ElecTRONica will transform Disney California Adventure park Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays this Fall. TRON fans and families can also enjoy the party seven days a week during Thanksgiving week and Christmas week."

Extra Tidbit: I'd somehow end up really wasted and crash the dance party screaming, "Where are the light cycle rides, assholes?!"

Let's all eat some shrooms...
...just to see what kind of hijinx we'd get up to by the time the effects wear off.

I hope this is just a band-aid until Tron proves itself a huge hit and then they go ahead with a ride that has already been designed. There were once plans in Disney's Animal Kingdom for Beastly Kingdom which was supposed to have rides based on the film Reign of Fire. Yeah. Didn't happen.

This is such a cool idea. The music is great. The design is great. The theme begs for it to be done.

Until you think of the people grinding up on each other at a Disney park and the parents complaining at some of the things they will see being done on the dance floor.

If there are people dressed as Sark patrolling the place though, I am prepared for comedic gold....

There isn't a whole lot at Hollywood studios that's very compelling (Muppets 3D, Star Wars ride, and the great movie ride are about it), but this could make it a whole lot more fun.

This sounds cool, the design effects on the pictures make it look worth the ride.
