According to you, the fine JoBlo.com readers, SUCKER PUNCH is the 3rd most anticipated movie at this year’s Comic-Con and only just a few votes shy of CAPTAIN AMERICA. That’s pretty impressive for an original film that we haven’t seen a lick of footage or art from. Until now.
In the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly (the one with Green Lantern on the cover), there’s a Comic-Con preview inside and included is our first look at the cast – Jena Malone, Abbie Cornish, Emily Browning, Jamie Chung and Vanessa Hudgens – of SUCKER PUNCH. Sadly all we have of this now is a scan and since the photo in the magazine runs across two pages, you’ll see a little white line below (which the break where I had to Photoshop the two pages together into one image).
I cropped out the text but it says to expect “dragons, zombie soldiers, steampunk sci-fi and monolithic mecca.” Oh yeah. Check out the image below and maybe by the end of the day, SUCKER PUNCH will be #1 on that poll.
