Haha, holy shit! Just the other day I wrote about the poster for Disney's SECRETARIAT saying it was one of the most basic one sheets I've seen in a long time. And now, out of nowhere, comes the first poster for Paul W.S. Anderson's THE THREE MUSKETEERS (in 3D) and it completely takes the crown for most weirdly plain poster for a major film I think I've ever seen. Maybe I'm missing the artistry behind it, or maybe it's actually not a finalized poster meant to be seen by the general public. Whatever the case is, it's out in public and I'm mocking it.

Three Musketeers in 3D means I will walk into a theater and throw 3 Musketeers candy bars into the faces of people dumb enough to see this in 3D. There's you 3D. Also, the 93 movie was awesome, and O'Donnell deserves better roles.

First off, 3D? Are you serious. Are we gonna have swords coming at our faces. There is no reason to have this movie in 3D. Poster is not good but I may check it out IN 2D of course. I'm skeptical about the cast but I do like Christoph Waltz. We shall see.

Action Comedy
If you've read Dumas' novel then you'll know that it's got a lot of comedy in it. I always thought of it as more of a swashbuckling action comedy. While reading the book there were several times I laughed outloud. I'm really looking forward to this film. Not sure the 3D is needed, but whatever, I'll just see it in 2D.

The Three Musketeers was one of the coolest book I've read but this poster is crap. Members on JoBlo photoshop way nicer posters' than this piece of poop!

I also like the 93 Musketeers. Then we had that average Man in the Iron Mask with Di Caprio (should that count as a 3 Musketeers movie?) and that piece of shit matrix-like movie with the guy from Greys Anatomy...

'93 Musketeers
That movie was a personal favourite of mine as a kid, and I still enjoy watching it. It's a Disney movie. Great adventure movie with great cast and lots of fun.

I still watch it dubbed in French though, since those characters ARE french and apparently the actors' accents are pretty bad.

As for Anderson's movie, well, I still hope it'll be a good entertaining movie, but the guy's...

It's not the best film in the world, but with Jack Bauer and TIM CURRY, it's nothing short of enjoyable.
