Fishburne joins Predators | Movie News

Our own Jenna Busch was a lucky lady this week. While I sat here in the cold with a box of tissues by my side, she was down in Austin visiting the set of PREDATORS. Now obviously when you visit a set like this, it comes with a pretty strict embargo about what you can and can't reveal. But I think I can say that Jenna walked away VERY impressed with what Rodriguez and crew and doing down there. And there is one more thing she can reveal. I'll let her do the talkin...

Got a little casting news from the PREDATORS set in Austin today. We didn't get to see him, but the awesome Laurence Fishburne will be playing the role of Noland. Can't tell you a damn thing about the character, but I think it's safe to say that he's going to kick some serious ass. We'll tell you more the second they lift the embargo. And believe me, I can't wait to spill! In case you're living under a rock, PREDATORS is being produced by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimrod Antal. The cast includes Adrian Brody, Topher Grace, Alice Braga, Danny Trejo, Derek Mears, Walton Goggins. The script is a reworking of the one Rodriguez wrote in the mid-nineties

While Jenna might not be able to tell you much about Noland, I know from my own digging that the character has a little experience fighting Predators. While most of our characters are newbies, Noland's been at this game for a while. Obviously much more from the set coming soon so stay tuned!
