The Wolverine Banner

The first full length trailers for THE WOLVERINE were released a couple of weeks ago and there hasn't been much news since, which is a little surprising considering how active director James Mangold has been promoting the film with his Twitter account. Maybe with all the IRON MAN 3, KICK-ASS 2 and MAN OF STEEL chatter going on James Mangold got a little jealous and wanted to make sure no one forgot about his comic book movie since he just tweeted these four set images from THE WOLVERINE as well as captions to explain what is going on in said images.

The trailers for THE WOLVERINE received a lot of attention and not all of it was good. Some people have complained that it doesn't look gritty enough and the CGI on the train sequence isn't too hot. I may be putting a lot of faith in James Mangold, Hugh Jackman and company but I really believe THE WOLVERINE could be the definitive Wolverine movie we've all been waiting for.

THE WOLVERINE slices and dices on July 26th, 2013.

Extra Tidbit: After THE WOLVERINE and X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST are released do you think Hugh Jackman will strap on the claws again? And do you want him to or is it time for some new blood?

For the next movie lets use real trains and action set pieces and just cgi his abs and pecs. That way when my wife asks me why I don't look like that I can tell her it's just cgi babe.

eh

while im still going to see the movie, im just not really pumped for it, fox has been a letdown with their marvel movies (even with the better ones like x-2) i mean there was the way they screwed up deadpool in origins, the under use of cyclops in all the xmen movies, killing him, jean and proffessor x off in x3, not bringing back nightcrawler, first class featuring only beast from the actual first class, and days of futures past is starting to look like its going to differ a lot from the

Hugh Jackman has said it's physically draining staying in the gym and eating six times a day while acting. He deserves a break even if The Wolverine is quite successful.

Extra Tidbit

I wouldn't be surprised if he was all Wolverined out after all his said and done. I certainly wouldn't blame him for stopping. He was clearly dedicated to the role and earned a break if he wants it.

I still have faith but...

I think a cinematographer with a more unique visual style, like Roger Deakins, could have helped push some of the naysayers back into the positive column. The story and Jackman still seem solid enough to make it work though.
