Full trailer and poster for The Hangover Part III with Zack Galifianakis, Bradley Cooper, and Ed Helms is here!

Apr. 11, 2013by:

The full trailer for Todd Phillips' THE HANGOVER PART III is here, completing the debacherous trilogy that follows The Wolf Pack of Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zack Galifianakis), and the always-absent Doug (Justin Bartha) as they dive deeper into their wayward ways. Following the death of his father, Alan goes into a deep spiral of depression and can only be saved by his "Pack" who attempt an intervention, only to be thwarted by a gangster (John Goodman) looking for stolen money from none other than Chow (Ken Jeong), setting the gang on a globe-spanning journey to get it back.

Take a look:

This looks like a lot of fun and I love the direction they've taken the story. It would've been too easy to come up with a new location and build on the same old concept, which was the biggest complaint of the sequel, but this looks like a step in the right direction. It pays homage, while letting the characters, not the setting, do the work. After all, it's The Wolf Pack themselves that was always the funniest aspect. I'm looking forward to this one.

THE HANGOVER PART III hits theaters on May 24, 2013.

They say it's the end.....

but we all know in 5-10 years from now they'll all get together to make another one for the sake of the almighty dollar.

definitely looks totally different from the last movie & since people bitched about it then that's a good thing. Don't get the hate on Chow, it's a funny role & he is like the anti wolfpack, anyway this looks hilarious & I will be checking it out. I love these movies.

So there isn't any drinking involved?

So let me get this straight. The Hangover 3....will not revolve around them drinking? I don't think this trailer was funny at all. I still like Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms and wish this film well but I'm tired of Galifianakis's and Jeong's schtick already. I'll pass..

The wolfpack themselves is what maked these movies, it doesn't always have to be about them being hungover again, that just happens to be the title.

Too much Chow.

Ken Jeong is funny in small doses. He really grates after a while, and bringing him back for Hangover 2 turned out to be one of the more-cited reasons for its lackluster reaction. (FWIW, I enjoyed it, but it was of course nowhere near the quality of the first film, as is often the case with comedy sequels.) I can already tell from this trailer that he's going to be in it waaay too much. I thought the last trailer was a lot funnier, and had my hopes higher for the quality of the film. John

John Goodman capturing them to find Chow and taking Doug just seems so...contrived? I know they have to keep Doug out of the Wolfpack to keep the original movie's chemistry intact, but it's probably a good thing that the trilogy is coming to a definitive end here. That all being said, I still think this will be better than the second movie, as early screening responses have indicated it's an improvement. I'll be happy to see it, but I have a feeling I'll walk out disliking Ken Jeong even more than I already do.

Movie looks hilarious.

Some of the parts in the trailer gave me a Ocean's Eleven vibe with them having to get back Doug and the stolen money.

Aside from two things: 1. It sucks that Doug isn't involved AGAIN. Justin Bartha must be pissed. And 2. I'm really tired of Ken Jeong and I feel like I'm the only person who finds him annoying.
Other than that, I'll be checking it out.

you can lookat it in a positive light if you think about it, like the running joke of the trilogy is doug never gets to be a part of the main story, I find that hilarious really

I guess.....

I absolutely loved the first one, and was very disappointed by the second one. The one thing I hated about Part II, which seems to continue here, is how they turned Alan from "kooky and goofy" to disturbing and certifiable. That was a HUGE issue for me with Part II, and I'm worried that they'll take that even further.

Having said that, I do like that it's a new, epic story with a different formula. If this turns out well, you could technically erase Part II entirely and pretend it didn't

That's a common problem with comedies where a character like Alan becomes unexpectedly popular. They really magnify his idiocy/comedy style in follow-ups. Just look at how braindead-stupid Homer Simpson has become over the years. That being said, Alan had a pretty disturbing mean streak in the original movie, and Todd Phillips really has a tendency to take his comedy to dark places; the first Hangover might have been even darker if he'd been allowed to get away with it. The studio probably gave

The studio probably gave him free reign with these last two so I'm expecting Part III to get pretty carried away with itself, for sure. I'll also mention that Galifianakis did sort of the same thing in Due Date, playing a kooky character who is borderline demented at times and whose pathos border on deliberate cruelty. There are times in that movie where you feel like he's purposely sabotaging Downey, and as much as I thought it was an enjoyable movie and I like Galifianakis, I think his subversive mean-spirited comedy will alienate audiences if he is allowed to continue taking it further in subsequent roles.

It looks pretty good. The storyline (at least from what I deduce from the trailer) makes it seem like an immediate continuation of Part 2's storyline, which may actually improve my impression of Part 2.

I don't think many people realize that most of the marketing for this movie is spoofing The Dark Knight Rises.

Harry Potter 7 Part 2 - [link]

Hangover Part III - [link]

The Hangover poster is clearly parodying Harry Potter, even using the same tag line and the two faces at the edge of the frame. There is no similarities with The Dark Knight Rises. You are probably getting down votes because your observation is inaccurate.
