Funny “fear of commitment” PSA with Adam Scott and Clark Duke for A.C.O.D.

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Do you have problems making decisions? Or a fear of commitments, regardless of how small it is? You just might be an A.C.O.D (Adult Children of Divorce) and you're not alone: Adam Scott and Clark Duke are here to tell you that although it might be difficult deciding which breakfast cereal is right for you, you can still live a well-adjusted life. Kind of.

This new PSA (courtesy of Vulture) from the two for their upcoming movie of the same name highlights the many issues an A.C.O.D. has to deal with on a daily basis. It's not going to have you on the floor rolling with laughter, but there is some awkwardness in the video that is sure to make you chuckle. I've also included a video of Jane Lynch trying to figure out what the hell A.C.O.D. stands for.

"Do you suffer from acute loneliness?"

Plot:

Having survived the madness of his parents’ divorce, Carter (Adam Scott) now has a successful career and supportive girlfriend. But when his younger brother gets engaged, Carter is forced to reunite his bitterly divorced parents and their new spouses for the wedding, causing the chaos of his childhood to return including his wacky therapist.

A.C.O.D. also stars Amy Poehler, Jessica Alba, Richard Jenkins and Mary Elizabeth Winstead, and will be in theaters on October 4th, 2013.
