Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington does love & war in Testament of Youth trailer

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

HBO's Game of Thrones has been rocking televisions for four seasons now and a lot of people are wondering if some of the fantastic actors employed will make the transition from small to silver screen. There's been talk of Maisie Williams joining a live-action adaptation of THE LAST OF US, and now we have Kit Harington (aka Jon Snow) tackling drama in TESTAMENT OF YOUTH. While this isn't his first theatrical outing, YOUTH looks to give him the most to work with.

Check out the trailer:

There's no question this trailer showcases some thick, syrupy drama of Downton Abbey-esque proportions, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There's a market for every kind of film and as long as the people making it know what kind of film they're crafting, the end result can excel. Sure, this may not be everyone's cup of tea, but color me curious.

TESTAMENT OF YOUTH will hit theaters in the UK on January 2, 2015 and US theaters sometime in 2015.

I'm rather looking forward to Natalie Dormer's turn in the upcoming THE HUNGER GAMES: MOCKINGJAY – PART 1.
