Gary Coleman (1968-2010)

05.28.2010
Just a few hours ago as reported by TMZ, Gary Coleman, best known as the child-actor who played the character Arnold Jackson on "Diff'rent Strokes", has passed away. He was 42-years old.

Coleman passed from an intracranial hemorrhage (bleeding within the skull) as a result of a fall the actor suffered while in Utah recently. He had been on life support since yesterday, but was taken off of it earlier this morning at the request of his wife.

A press conference is currently being held at the Utah hospital. A rep for Coleman released the following statement: "Thanks to everyone for their well wishing and support during this tragic time. Now that Gary has passed, we know he will be missed because of all the love and support shown in the past couple of days. Gary is now at peace and his memory will be kept in the hearts of those who were entertained by him throughout the years."
Extra Tidbit: In 2003, Coleman was an official gubernatorial candidate for the state of California alongside people like pornstar Mary Carey, actor and cybernetic organism Arnold Schwarzenegger, and motherf*cking Gallagher. Will Coleman really be remembered more for something like "Diff'rent Strokes" (like every website, including us, has reported)? Or will it be for crazy shit like I just mentioned?

i always hoped someone would give him another chance and give him a role that wasn't a parody of himself.

RIP Gary You Will Be Missed

I watched him when I was a kid and he made me laugh...."Whatchoo talkin bout Willis"

There is a funny song from the stage play Avenue Q. part of it goes like this...
"My name is Gary Colman from TV's Different Strokes, I made a lota money but it got stolen by my folks"....

Rest in Peace Gary

When someone in their early forties dies suddenly, it is sad. All I know about him personally, though, is that he was "a child actor" and he was an "also ran" in the California circus election that netted them Schwarzenegger as Gov.

Guy had a tough life

I hope he can find some peace through the unconscious, if it does exist.

I'm not going to pretend I'm heartbroken since he was irrelevant for most of his life after the show, BUT it is sad to see someone I remember from television go.

Yes

Most people will remember him from the television show, as opposed to his off screen antics. He was one adorable kid.
