There may be a few weeks left to go before SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY comes out, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get your Lando Calrissian fix in the meanwhile. Donald Glover hosted SNL last night, and during one of the show's sketches he donned his black and blue cape and brought his Lando to the stage. The sketch gives you a taste of Glover’s Lando before SOLO comes out, reminding us why they should get that Lando movie going post haste.

The sketch finds Glover’s Lando hosting a summit for all the black people in space, which means like three other people showed up, including ROGUE ONE’s Saw Gererra (Kenan Thompson). Leslie Jones and Chris Redd are there too, and basically, the mood is“This is a depressing turnout.” Glover steals the show with his smooth performance that does have an essence of Billy Dee Williams. He certainly gives the role his own flair at the end, teaming with a very familiar space musician for the crooning love song, “Making Love in Space.” The song is now number one on iTunes and Spotify.
SOLO: A STAR WARS STORY hits theaters May 25.
