Get ready for some mass vehicular carnage in this final trailer for Fast and Furious 6

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Just in case the first extended trailer for FAST AND FURIOUS 6 wasn’t enough for you, this final trailer brings a level of carmageddon that far exceeds anything the previous films brought. And, really, that’s what it’s all about for this franchise; bigger, better, faster, and crazier. FAST FIVE seemed to represent the fully realized evolution of the franchise, which began as a POINT BREAK on Nos rip-off and has morphed into its own little niche of a high octane, stunt-frenzied action series.

Pedal to the metal:

Seeing as this is Justin Lin‘s last venture as director on the series, I’m excited to see him go out with a bang (he’ll be replaced by SAW’s James Wan for the seventh outing). The cast has grown into a formidable ensemble and coupled with the style, pace, and outrageous stunts make up the perfect ingredients for a summer action romp.

Here’s the synopsis:

Since Dom (Diesel) and Brian’s (Walker) Rio heist toppled a kingpin’s empire and left their crew with $100 million, our heroes have scattered across the globe.  But their inability to return home and living forever on the lam have left their lives incomplete.

Meanwhile, Hobbs (Johnson) has been tracking an organization of lethally skilled mercenary drivers across 12 countries, whose mastermind (Evans) is aided by a ruthless second-in-command revealed to be the love Dom thought was dead, Letty (Rodriguez).  The only way to stop the criminal outfit is to outmatch them at street level, so Hobbs asks Dom to assemble his elite team in London.  Payment?  Full pardons for all of them so they can return home and make their families whole again.

FAST AND FURIOUS 6, starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Gina Carano, Luke Evans, Sung Kang, Tyrese Gibson, Elsa Pataky, and Ludacris hits the road on May 24, 2013.
