Ghostbusters 3 rumor: Emma Stone and Jonah Hill offered roles

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Here’s a take-it or leave-it rumor for GHOSTBUSTERS 3; at least it doesn’t involve Bill Murray. According to the website Schmoes Know, SUPERBAD co-stars Jonah Hill and Emma Stone have been offered the roles of “Jeremy” and “Anna” respectively. The site doesn’t know who these characters are, but based on the actors I’m sure we could guess their of personality types.

Of course, this is just a rumor, so we shouldn’t even pencil these names in. Hell, when it comes to GHOSTBUSTERS 3, all bets are off, so no one knows anything for sure other than the producers – and sometimes it even seems like they’re unsure of where the movie stands.

When we last left GHOSTBUSTERS 3, Dan Aykroyd said the film was hopefully going to be in production in the fall (this fall that we’re in now) and shooting would be commencing early 2014. Perhaps this casting news, if accurate, would indicate that it’s ready to move forward after all?
