Go behind the scenes with Bruce Willis and Jai Courtney in this featurette for A Good Day To Die Hard

A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, the fifth entry in the John-McClane-has-shitty-luck franchise, is hitting in just a few months and today we have a new featurette, which has star Jai Courtney singing the praises of his role as McClane's son, Jack, and working with the man himself, Bruce Willis.  The featurette shows off some new clips of dialogue and some worthwhile footage, but doesn't exactly immerse you in Die-Hardiness.

Directed by John Moore (MAX PAYNE), the new film has John McClane heading to Russia to "police up" his son, Jack, who he discovers is actually a CIA agent in deep cover...and deep shit.  Naturally, they pocket their Visa's, pick up some semi-automatic weapons, blow some shit up, and jump out of a few windows.  All in a day's work of DIE HARD!  It's a foregone conclusion that I'll see this, with my fingers crossed so hard they might snap.  I would really like a strong follow-up in the franchise, as the last entry left me in meh-ville with very little f*cks to give.

Here's the featurette:

A GOOD DAY TO DIE HARD, starring Bruce Willis, Jai Courtney, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, and Yuliya Snigir, brings the love on February 14, 2013.

no going back

I liked all the Die Hard movies. I just think the first film was the most original and iconic. Even "Live Free or Die Hard" was a solid and fun action film. I'm excited for this new one, again i dont think it will live up to the standards set over 24 years ago, but i think i'll still have a good time seeing it. If they want to create something as iconic as the first film, they might have to start from scratch. I know the word reboot brings up mixed feelings, but think of it more like the next

New actor, new situation, same bad-ass antics.

seriously, we talked about this a few weeks ago when Skyfall came out, what could be the american James Bond? John McClain and Indiana Jones can easily follow the series format James Bond set up.
