Go on an adventure with Christopher Robin and friends in this trailer for Winnie The Pooh

11.11.2010

What a nice change of animated pace.

As much as I love everything that Pixar does, sometimes I miss the simplicity of WINNIE THE POOH.

When I watched the trailer I almost teared up a bit. I don't know about the rest of you, but this is a piece of my childhood. It didn't help my emotions when Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" started to play. What a great fit for this trailer!

There are some familiar voices in the cast as well: Jim Cummings, Craig Ferguson, Tom Kenny, Wayne Knight, Peter Cullen and Gilbert Gottfried. I love the fact that Optimus Prime is also Eeyore. What happens in this adventure? "Owl sends the whole gang on a wild quest to save Christopher Robin from an imaginary culprit. It turns out to be a very busy day for a bear who simply set out to find some hunny.") The film is due for release July 15, 2011.

Watch the trailer and take another journey with Christopher Robin and his friends.

Gorgeous!

This thing looks great. I hope one of my nieces or nephews wants to see it too, for I don't wanna be the creepy guy by himself in the kids movie.

I just had a "D'awwww!!!" moment

that was absolutely adorable, and looked great. I especially liked the fact that they used jokes from the original books.

You're right it is Bud Lucky......but Peter Cullen is credited with the final voice record.....what's with that? Did Bud only do it for the rough track and they are yet to record Peter?

Might I also add that the animation looks absolutely stunning. Feels like a children's book come alive.

Excellent. I'm interested in this now. I never thought I would like Pooh but this looks good. The use of Keane in the trailer made me take this much more seriously too.

Eeyore = Bud Luckey

Any true Pixar fan will INSTANTLY recognize that voice as the Jackalope from Boundin and Chuckles the Clown from Toy Story 3.

And any true Transformers and/or Winnie the Pooh fan will INSTANTLY recognize that is absolutely NOT Peter Cullen this time around.

All voices aside, this looks amazing.

Bud Lucky would be a perfectly acceptable replacement, and it is interesting to see Tom Kenny's name as the voice of Rabbit and Craig Ferguson voicing owl. This would be Ferguson's second big voice contribution in two years (he had a huge role in How To Train Your Dragon)

MrTambureneMan, the voice of Eeyore is the same as it's always been for a long time....Peter Cullen has been doing it for years :)

Movie looks great!

Mostly cool

I liked the tone of it all, but found the new voices of Eeyore, Christoper Robin, and the Owl upsetting. And did Pooh have a musical number about hunny? hmmmm....

Has a very traditional look / feel to it, good use of a Keane song for the trailer too...
