Gotham Knight trailer! | Movie News

Set for release later this summer about 10 days before THE DARK KNIGHT hits theaters is the direct-to-DVD animated anthology BATMAN: GOTHAM KNIGHT. Produced by Emma Thomas (wife of Christopher Nolan), the six short films are intended to bridge the gap between BATMAN BEGINS and THE DARK KNIGHT. Six different directors - Shojiro Nishimi, Futoshi Higashide, Hiroshi Morioka, Yasuhiro Aoki, Toshiyuki Kubooka and Jong-Sik Nam - with oversight by Bruce Timm mastermind of the classic Batman animated series. The trailer for the anthology has been released and it certainly looks interesting. It would seem that some segments seem sharper than others but isn't that always the way with short film collections? It's certainly worth checking out though on July 8th when it hits shelves. Check out the new trailer below.
