Amateur Night

Back at the beginning of May, Chiller not only announced a LIFEFORCE remake (holyshit), but their plans of adapting the fantastic VHS segment “Amateur Night” into a feature length film as well. Some potentially great stuff on the horizon from Chiller, that’s for sure. Anyway, the “Amateur Night” adaptation is titled SIREN and it finally has a director attached.

Aint It Cool dropped the news today, reporting that VHS: VIRAL’s Gregg Bishop will helm the feature adaptation, which is expected to release sometime in 2016. SIREN will have the same setup as “Amateur Night”, following a bachelor party that becomes a savage fight for survival when the groomsmen unwittingly unleash a fabled predator upon the festivities.

Written by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, SIREN is executive produced by David Bruckner and Brad Miska and produced by Gary Binkow for Collective Digital Studios. More on SIREN as we get it, folks.
