Gugu Mbatha-Raw cast as lead for Netflix’s Black Mirror revival

Then you’ll also understand my excitement over hearing she’s been cast as a lead for one of the episodes of Netflix’s revival of BLACK MIRROR, the cult sci-fi anthology series with a technological tilt that aired on the BBC.

Last year, Netflix announced they’d be moving ahead with 12 new episodes, and now they’d confirmed that Mbatha-Raw, in addition to Mackenzie Davis, will be starring in one of the episodes which Owen Harris will be directing. Details of their roles or of the nature of the episode are expectedly under wraps, but word of their involvement period gives me confidence that this run of BLACK MIRROR is in good hands.
