Hamm Sucker Punched

Hamm as Lex Luthor on FUNNY OR DIE

Is SUCKER PUNCH shaping up to be one sick must-see flick or what? With an already eye-popping female cast (including Carla Gugino and Jamie Chung) finally comes a kick-ass guy onboard the film that's being described as “Alice in Wonderland with machine guns”.

MAD MEN star Jon Hamm signed on to WATCHMEN director Zach Snyder's new dark fantasy film as a mysterious character named High Roller. Anything else about him is being kept under lock and key, but it's Jon Hamm, and that movie already looks to be as twisted as it can get, so please get filming already and let us see a trailer soon!

Based on Snyder's own script, the film set in the 50s is "about little girl who is trying to hide from the pain caused by her evil stepfather and lobotomy. She ends up in mental institution and while there she starts to imagine alternative reality. She plans to escape from that imaginary world but to do that she needs to steal five objects before she is caught by a vile man." Think David Cronenberg meets Terry Gilliam in Alex Proyas's living room.

Until we DO get a trailer, here's the funny side of Jon Hamm.

Extra Tidbit: Am I the only one who prefers the theatrical cut to WATCHMEN? The added scenes are cool but they drag down the pace something awful.
