Harris is in Halloween

Rob Zombie just confirmed on his MySpace blog that, as was previously rumored, Danielle Harris has joined Tyler Mane as the adult Michael Myers, Malcolm MacDowell as Dr. Loomis, and all these people in the cast of his HALLOWEEN remake. The speculation was that Harris would be playing Laurie Strode, the heroine of the original made famous by Jamie Lee Curtis but, no, in actuality she'll be taking on the role of Laurie's babysitting buddy, Annie Brackett. You may recall that Harris already made an appearance in the HALLOWEEN franchise as Jamie, Myers' young niece, in the fourth and fifth installments. You also may remember her as "T.K"., the forbidden fruit that was Harley Keiner's little sister, on "Boy Meets World", or as "hot" in any recent photo or video likeness of her. Speaking of which, Bloody Disgusting posted the casting info for the Annie Brackett character and it goes a little something like this:

"[ANNIE BRACKETT] Emancipated or legal 18 to play 18, Caucasian, female. PARTIAL NUDITY REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE. She is LAURIE'S best friend, cute, and curly-haired, full of teen enthusiasm and charm. Borderline bad girl (she rebels, but in a sweet way).

Partial nudity, eh? Pretty cool, but then again that oft deceitful term could mean something as disappointing as side ass, and that role requirement in itself is not necessarily set in stone.

I personally think that Zombie has assembled a nice cast for this remake. It looks like all that remains to be seen is who will play Laurie, unless Zombie was somehow managed to cut the character from the movie. What say you, provided you're on speaking terms with this film, about the cast so far and who you think would be the right choice for Laurie Strode? HALLOWEEN is apparently scheduled for an August 31st release but that has just gotta eventually get pushed back to Halloween.

Extra Tidbit: This tidbit will be a trivia question for YOU: "Boy Meets World" fans step out from the shadows and answer this... Danielle Harris' T.K. revealed Harley's real name. What was it? First to answer is subject to both praise and ridicule.
