Much like the directors for the MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE series thus far, the composers have been a pretty varied bunch. From Danny Elfman to Hans Zimmer to Michael Giacchino, A-list composers have had their hand in playing with and adding to Lalo Schifrin's classic theme. Now it's Joe Kraemer's turn.

Having previously scored Christopher McQuarrie's JACK REACHER and THE WAY OF THE GUN, Kraemer has spent most of his time developing music for short films. He definitely has some big shoes to fill regarding the work he's following but luckily for us, it sounds like he's on the right track. Thanks to SoundCloud, the composer has uploaded the first track from ROGUE NATION and it sounds like it would be right at home in a Bond film! Check it out!

My biggest concern with Kraemer scoring ROGUE NATION was if he would be aggressive enough, which I find some composers have issues with when writing for an action film. Judging by this first track it doesn't look like that'll be an issue! Giacchino crafted one hell of a fun, thematic score for GHOST PROTOCOL, so I hope that Kraemer's is equally as exciting! If not, at least we'll have that classic MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE theme to fall back on!

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE ROGUE NATION opens on July 31, 2015.
