Here’s Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf and Jon Bernthal on the set of David Ayer’s Fury

I know there’s quite a few of you out there who are pretty pumped for David Ayer‘s FURY.

Ayer who wrote the script for TRAINING DAY, and directed as well as wrote END OF WATCH, decided to make the move from the streets to the battleground. FURY starring Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Pena tells the story of a five man crew behind enemy lines during WWII. We’ve gotten one official picture since first hearing of the film which Ayer says will “bring tank combat to life” to a modern audience. When I initially heard about it, my first thought was the game “World of Tanks” I like a good war flick or series. One of my favorite series of all time has to be BAND OF BROTHERS.

Ayer tweeted a couple of pictures of the cast on the set. There’s two good shots of all the guys. If you’re on Twitter and are interested in the film, be sure to add Ayer (@DavidAyerMovies) because he actually shares a lot from the set which is always cool.

Synopsis:

FURY is set at the very end of World War II, in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push in the European Theater, a battle-hardened army sergeant named Wardaddy (Brad Pitt) commands a Sherman tank and her five-man crew on a deadly mission behind enemy lines. Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men face overwhelming odds in their heroic attempts to strike at the heart of Nazi Germany.

FURY releases in theaters on November 14, 2014.
