Here's the second trailer for Blended with Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore

04.04.2014by:

Itís hard to be so mean to a movie that has both Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore in it. They came together in one of the best comedies of all-time, THE WEDDING SINGER. Maybe 50 FIRST DATES didnít meet their first team up on the same level, but at least it had a good amount of laughs. But what about their latest effort, BLENDED?

"Is this a sick dream?"

Synopsis:

After a bad blind date, a man and woman find themselves stuck together at a resort for families, where their attractions grows as their respective kids benefit from the burgeoning relationship.

Yes, that's Shaq.

The second trailer for the film mightóIím stretching thisómight be a little better than the first. Some of the same gags are still there, but there are new ones to test on those willing to give it a watch. I always enjoy the music in any of Sandler's films. That's good, right? Maybe itís time to bring back Tim Herlihy? While I wasnít in love with LITTLE NICKY or GROWN UPS 2, I think Iím willing to look past it. He does have a few films that more than cancel both of those out.

If youíve given up on Sandler comedy-wise, there is always his return to the more dramatic with Thomas McCarthyís THE COBBLER and Jason Reitmanís MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN.

BLENDED hits theaters on May 23, 2014.

I will say, there are like 2.5 kinda funny jokes in this trailer (though they removed the funny random intro of terry crews sliding out from the first one), and that's more than trailers for his last 5 or so - maybe ten - movies. The "this t shirts on fire," and the end when his daughter walks out and the music is playing for each character was cute. The idea of DB having to run in the air to hit the ground is funny too, but just the idea. Even the walking dead line was ok. Don't take this

Don't take this the wrong way tho, bc I am 99% sure I'll never try to see this movie, but I will give the trailer credit for being more of a C- than F

I hate to say it but I think Adam Sandler is done.

I've been a fan of his since his SNL days, and I'm afraid that I no longer think he is capable of being funny. His sense of humor needs to evolve. I would rather see him tackle a few serious roles than to continue to churn out shit like this.

I agree with you, but idk if he's done. It wasn't that long ago that he was in funny people, and while that movie was a bit of a mess, he was good in it and funny. And not that long ago that he turned down inglorious basterds. But he def has just set his career on cruise to be around his friends and go to nice places. If he works with directors who challenge him, I will still go check him out - reign on me was ok, but he was still good in it. He just doesn't really care ab good quality I

The worse part is, why should he? Majority of ppl don't, and that's why his movies make a shit ton of money. Still, if he won't do punch drunk love or the above movies, happy gilmore, Billy Madison, waterboy were all similar immature movies but were funny.

I'm surprised the indigenous tribes didn't try to kill them for making Africa look bad.

Dear Lord, of all the lazy Adam Sandler comedies that were clearly excuses for him to go on vacation (Jack and Jill, Just Go With It, the Grown-Ups films), this is the most blatant and gag-inducing.

Adam Sandler takes his mates to Africa. How long is he going to keep getting away with this.

Sorry, but their chemistry seems nonexistent here.

This isn't the same Sandler from Wedding Singer or 50 First Dates.
