Strike Back below!
by: Omar Aviles Mar. 23, 2007

This may just be the quickest turnover between someone being cast in a role and a studio-sanctioned mini-interview discussing said role but Emile Hirsch, two days after being cast as Speed Racer in the Wachowski's upcoming all green screen adaptation of the popular cartoon, has shed some light on what we can expect from the film by using a rather interesting phrase - he describes the film as BLADE RUNNER meets Andy Warhol. Check it out below. The film's set for release May 9th, 2008.

As cool as "Blade Runner meets Andy Warhol" sounds, it isn't a phrase I would use to describe the live action adaptation of a childhood favorite.

And the Matrix trilogy a favorite? Riiiiiight....
