Hold your breath for the first teaser for Air, starring Norman Reedus

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

A couple of weeks back we brought you your first look at AIR, which stars Norman Reedus and Djimon Hounsou, via the first image from the claustrophobic sci-fi thriller. The flick re-teams Reedus with his "Walking Dead" producer Robert Kirkman, who serves as a producer on the film. We followed that up by bringing you the first poster for AIR last week, and if you were waiting to see more from the flick now you can breathe easy as we have on tap the first teaser trailer for the sci-fi thriller below.

The story is set in an underground cryogenic facility after a nuclear fallout renders the atmosphere unbreathable. Air centers on its two custodial workers (Reedus, Hounsou), who take care of the cryogenically sleeping personnel that are to re-establish society, but they struggle to preserve their own sanity and lives while maintaining the extremely fragile environment of the last livable place on earth.

AIR was directed by Christian Cantamessa, who wrote the MANHUNT and RED DEAD REDEMPTION video games.

I'm really digging what we're seeing from AIR so far, and this short teaser does a good job of making me want to see and know more. We've still got a while to wait, though, as AIR isn't scheduled to be released until Spring of 2015.
