Hottie Teresa Palmer jumps aboard I Am Number Four

Casting for the teen sci-fi flick I AM NUMBER FOUR continues rounding out. We recently reported that DISTRICT 9's Sharlto Copley was in talks to star opposite lead Alex Pettyfer (BEASTLY). And joining them now will be sweet dollop of good-looking Teresa Palmer.

According to THR's Heat Vision blog, Palmer will play Six, "one of nine aliens who escape their home planet before its annihilation by a rival species and hide out on Earth disguised as human high schoolers." The D.J. Caruso-directed film comes via writers Alfred Gough and Miles Millar ("Smallville") who are adapting from the yet-to-be-released James Frey and Jobie Hughes series of young-adult books.

Palmer can next be seen being all hot and stuff next to Nicolas Cage and Jay Baruchel in the Disney summer tentpole THE SORCERER'S APPRENTICE, and later in the perpetually delayed comedy-drama YOUNG AMERICANS. She's also on board to star in George Miller's FURY ROAD.
Extra Tidbit: Palmer was set as the female lead in Doug Liman's JUMPER before being replaced by Rachel Bilson.
