Hugh Laurie and Leighton Meester clutch pinkies in this first photo from The Oranges

If we have any news having to do with Hugh Laurie, it’s worth posting.

The first promotional photo for THE ORANGES has found its way online. We brought you the news of the awesome cast that was involved in the film back in April. Laurie is accompanied by Catherine Keener, Leighton Meester, Allison Janney, Oliver Platt, Alia Shawkat, Adam Brody and Sam Rosen.

Before we didn’t have a plot synopsis for the film, but now we do.

This dark comedy centers on, “A guy (Laurie) falls for the daughter (Meester) of a family friend, making life just a bit awkward for himself and the family.” Julian Farino (ENTOURAGE) is the one helming.

It’s funny to see the two of them clutching pinkies. I can see how a man could fall for Meester. However, I can also see how a lady could fall for Laurie. He’s HOUSE! Check out the photo below.
